This workshop is designed to teach participants some of the skills of improving their cv and from gaining the perspective of experienced HR professionals.
The morning session of the cv workshop will be attended by Mary Mitchell-O'Connor, TD who will officially launch the workshop.

Session 1 - CV Workshops
Finding a new job is nevery easy, a busy recruiter doesn't read your cv, they scan and you only have a few moments to gain their attention. In this session we will talk about the interview from the employer's perspective and the importance of job descriptions and person specifications. Session 2 - CV Workshops
In this session, we will demonstrate good and bad examples of a cv. We will talk about how to prepare your cv and also how to deal with the application form. Session 3 - CV Workshops
The final stage is a brief review of your cv, should you decide to bring it in. As mentioned before, most recruiters will only scan a cv and we will provide you with some suggestions regarding the structure and layout of your cv.
